Sometimes, upvoting on tag aliases/implications returns a popup error: "not found", guess as in a 404? It usually still votes either way, but that seemed a bit odd for me.
Holding down A/D (pools) or left/right arrow (post/search) causes the browser to keep sending requests for prev/next page, eventually leading to a error 503

Search results for order:change_asc are incorrect.
The problem here is ID:3520893.
Even if you focus only on this, the posting date and time are recent (22 days ago) and the others were last updated many years ago, so it is clearly out of place.
change_seq is incremented everytime anything in a posts data is changed, user visible or otherwise. This includes tag updates done through aliases and implications, which are not visible in a posts version history until a manual update is made.

Something I've often wondered: why not? It would make version history much more readable not to have the automatic changes mixed up with the manual ones.

I'd assume it's a waste of resources, applying large aliases and implications already takes a long time without having to also create thousands of entries into the post changes database too.
Though it would be nice if there was some sort of visual indicator on the tag edit that it was automatically added, perhaps using a different color to green or using a symbol that isn't +. People have asked me before why I added a certain tag to a post when it was actually applied by an implication that later got added.

Not sure how to add image link using DText. So, not sure if this one was reported but when disambiguating some old tags, I got a negative count on number of existing examples. Purely a cosmetic bug, but figured I'd tell you. Link should vanish in a month so left description and how to reproduce this bug.

had you removed any tags from deleted posts, maybe? since deleted posts don't add to a tags count it could be that you removed more tags than were on the count, assuming that removing a tag from a deleted post lowers the tag count.

Hmm, these were old and approved posts, I think. I didn't see any 'deleted' ones. I wonder if it has to do with it being an invalid tag.
Tags on deleted posts were included in the count until rather recently, but that isn't the case anymore. The count for this tag should be fixed now.
i dont know if this is a bug, or if i am doing something wrong, but i can't see any comments on any image. in case its related, i just posted a bunch of images (im a commissioner and i decided to start putting some of my old images on this site)

Please check that Settings -> "Advanced" -> "Hide comments" is set to "No".

Well, way it works is say, I have a part of the site for "Submit" button below. If I right-click on it and select 'block element', I get the following list in the picker window:

If I preview that first one, I lose the button, second one, I lose the entire form for commenting, and so on. The reason this works is something called a "Div" (divider? a sort of handler like a folder/filename but for the web page's text) that breaks a page up into sections. The adblocker was being told to block "##.list-of-forum-posts", most likely. This just happens to match the object otherwise known as the list of comments. XD Yeah, if curious open Inspector to view what the raw HTML looks like.
Questioning about the feature "Blacklist Users" and searching comments.
If when you're blacklisting a user -- that is, add user:kurogi_foxsiv into "Blacklisted tags" on user setting, and then Turn ON "Blacklist users" selecting Yes -- You'll never see that user on Forum, Comments, or etc.
But, When it comes to comment search, the Blacklisted boxes are still visible.
Is this a correct behavior?

Yeah, my fault. I made a change which had this as an unintented side effect. I already made a fix which will be part of the next deploy.
For now you can specify an order other than "Status" and it should work.

the blip reply button doesn’t seem to be working.
The implication my_little_pony -> hasbro is not working correctly, posts uploaded today with the former tag did not have the latter.

Revisiting this one. While hiragana doesn't appear to work correctly, katakana searches do work. description:ルクスアリス returns post #1982966, and description:メスケモ returns entire pages of correct results.

It seems there's an issue when the last page only has one post, the link for the last page is for the next-to-last page. I don't think it has anything to do with hidden posts, it seems to more be an off-by-one error in calculating the page count from the number of posts.
New bug started today. Using Firefox to view, CTL-Click is no longer opening images ion a new tab like its supposed to. Instead, I get a green banner that says FAVORITE REMOVED. This is isolated to this website only, and only in Firefox. Chrome seems unaffected

It's not a bug.
Set "Mode" dropdown in the sidebar to "View". You currently have it set to "Unfavorite".
Not sure if this was mentioned before or not...
I went to my user profile today, and where it shows "Favorites" there's an image at the top that I've never seen before. All of the ones under it are actually my recent faves, but this one on top is one I've never viewed before. And when I go to this image, the Favorite icon is green as if I haven't faved it, but if I click on the fav button it says I've already faved the image... The image is also from 2 years ago.

Bug: e621 shouldn't blindly change http to https in source URLs, as some older sites don't support HTTPS and probably never will. e621's automatic URL rewriting breaks the links to those sites.

When I turn or leave the blacklist on, it starts blocking EVERYTHING after a search, no matter what is in my list, until I turn the whole list off. This has happened on here for over a decade, now. Don't know what else to say about it.

You have -invalid_tag on your blacklist.
That tells the site to filter out everything except for posts that have an invalid_tag.
You should probably remove that.

I believe this was a report for the OP of a forum topic that has since been hidden.
Lately I have often been getting 403 errors when trying to post, update tags, add to set, etc. Other than that, I can browse just fine. I access e621 over TOR, and doing a "new TOR circuit to site" sometimes resolves this, but not always. Regardless, it only fixes it temporarily.
Whenever I try to change any of the settings in my account, such as toggling one of the advanced options or adding something to my blacklist, I get the message "Email has already been taken" after hitting submit, and none of my changes are saved or applied.
I can log in completely fine, and have no evidence of any sort of account breach. This just seems like a weird bug with the account settings page.

Send a password reset request, I'm fairly sure you will get two because another account you created has the same email. Delete the other account or change its email and you will have no problems changing settings anymore.

Not really an e621 bug but "Reverse Google Search" link under posts is not working. Google now redirects it to the main image search page.
It must have broken very recently because I was using it just yesterday and everything was fine.

It started working again, so it could just be a bug on Google side. Hopefully they are not going to remove this feature for a quick image source search.

"Error: undefined" is given when attempting to favorite a post when using TOR. This does not happen outside of TOR.
This began about 1 week ago.
It is possible to upvote posts with TOR. Occasionally, it is possible to favorite a post or two before the error begins to be given again.

Have the same issue. I assume POST requests (except login?) have been mostly disabled for TOR users, which is a shame because I'm sure there are plenty of users who do constructive editing using TOR (myself included) who now aren't able to. That said, if that's something that was done purposefully I'd also understand, since there are enough of people who abuse TOR.
Has anyone else been having a problem opening pictures here from the "post" or "search" options? I keep getting an error message in that red bar on the top of my screen. I haven't been able to test this on a proper computer but my cell won't connect when I click a thumbnail. Strange thing is it will open if I open it from my comment section.

Have you made sure you're in View mode? (Mode dropdown on mobile is near the bottom of post/search pages, between the page numbers and the list of tags.)

For example, I wanted to search through my comments on animal_crossing related pictures, so I put my name in the 'commenter' field and animal_crossing in the tags field. I only got one single result, for the comment on post #3674149
I knew that couldn't possibly be right, so I re-did the search but instead I searched for beau_(animal_crossing) ...and I got 27 results, pretty much any comment I left on a Beau picture. As Beau is an Animal Crossing character, all of those images also have the animal_crossing tag on them, but 26 of them didn't show up in my first search.
Had similar results with ankha_(animal_crossing) and ankha zone, but in reverse. This time searching the character tag gave me 0 results, but the media tag gave me the full results, most of which would be tagged with Ankha.
I don't know if this is a bug with the site or I'm being stupid or something else but I am unable to blacklist any sort of tag I keep on getting these messages "Failed to update blacklist" and "Email has already been taken" if this is just me being stupid I would like to know if it's a bug please fix it.

Send yourself a password reset and delete the other 3 accounts with the same email you created.
Probably more of an oversight than a bug, but it's really strange that posting blips doesn't take you back to the blip page.
It's a bit strange how the Request implication page (linked at the top of all forum pages) has a link to "Alias Listing" in its top bar, but not to a list of implications. Meanwhile, the Request alias page has a link to "Implication Listing" in the same place, but no list of aliases. Surely this should be the other way round?

The first option on the submenu, just simply "Listing", is the one that you're looking for. Alias/Implication Listing were just recent additions that make it easier to switch between the two different tag relations pages faster.

The tag implication symbol in the "preview final tags" view of the upload UI is backwards (possibly elsewhere).
Example, from a recent upload:
"muscular_male ⇐ muscular"
(fairly informal) Evidence this is wrong:
(A ⇐ B) ⇔ "every B is also A"
"muscular_gynomorph" is is "muscular" but is not "muscular_male," so this fails.
Conversely,
(A ⇒ B) ⇔ "every A is also B"
Every "muscular_male" is "muscular," so ⇒ is what you want.
A possible source of confusion is that the most common implication-style digraph in CS is the dependency graph, which is usually represented with the arrow from the consequent to its antecedent, for computational convenience, as the most pressing algorithmic question is often "what other nodes do this one depend on?"

I don't have 3 other accounts and if I did I would know cause I write down my passwords to every account I have so either this is a bug or some how my account was snatched or copied.

I'm trying but it's a little stressful to make a new password for those accounts and get a message saying that the username/password is incorrect and I get locked out so I will try to delete the others.

I have done it finally I have my account to myself again 😁 I still don't know how I had three other accounts tied to my email but I have fixed it.

No images are displaying at all, I've closed all my tabs. Reset my device. Signed in and out and I still haven't gotten the images to reappear. When I click on them they don't react I am met with the normal hexagonal background.

Google Images reverse image search broken? It seems broken for at least a week, now.
Also, I tend to have better results with images.Yandex.com, but that's more of a feature request. ;)

Adding 'client=app' query parameter after a separator fixes it, apparently. They probably will be depreciating the old domain, though...
