The "active", engorged state of a penis that is visibly erect, stiff, hard, pointing straight up or outwards, etc. Often visible under clothing.
Erections are typically a result of sexual arousal, which involuntarily triggers an increase in blood flow into the spongy tissues of the penis, increasing penile sensitivity, firmness, and size and allowing the penis to more easily penetrate a character's vagina, anus, or other penetrable orifices.
If the penis is obviously erect but not directly visible, tenting or penis_outline may also apply. Bulge can also apply as well.
For full erections only. If the penis is only partially erect, use half-erect instead.
