dive computer
A dive computer is a vital piece of equipment for any diver, and it should be worn on every dive.
Dive computers come in many varieties, worn on the wrist like a watch is the most common and comfortable for many; there are variants that are integrated with the pressure and depth gauges or handheld. A dive computer has to be able to record the dive time, depth and the no-decompression limits (which is an indication of how long and how deep you can go without then having to do a decompression stop on the way to the surface), however almost all dive computers also allow for a lot of extra functionalities, and some of them have a sensor that can be connected to the air tank to calculate the remaining dive time.
