basketball - Sport, ball used in said sport.
volleyball - Sport, ball used in said sport.
Should we tag the balls as basketball_(ball) and volleyball_(ball) respectively?

Yeah, that seems to be the standard: see football_(disambiguation).
Though it might work better the other way around: basketball for the ball, basketball_(sport) for the sport. There's more posts of the balls than of the sport, and the latter almost always contains the former.

I think sticking to the standard is a better idea. More consistent.

on_shoulders refers to several situations.
post #966366 post #1002979 post #906643 post #110100
I've already separated fireman's_carry, piggyback and shoulder_carry from these. I need to go through the carrying tag at some point to find out how many of them need these three tags.
EDIT: Just discovered the shoulder_stand tag. I'll sort those from on_shoulders now.

Hm, I wonder if that should imply on_top
seems rather humanoid-anatomy-centric, and prone to exceptions

on_top seems to refer to a character sitting/straddling on a character who is sitting/lying down. On_shoulders isn't that.
We need to find a way to prevent on_shoulders from being mistagged. It only has a few exceptions right now. We could change this position to shoulder_ride or sitting_on_shoulders which would separate it from the more ambiguous on_shoulders then periodically check on_shoulders for mistags.

Do we have a tag for the musical instrument family, horn?

Shoulder_ride sounds better, although I'm slightly worried that then those would get tagged as riding instead of carrying.
Riding is an another ambiguous tag, by the way: it's constantly tagged for sex. Instead of actual riding. And not just by one user, newbies often mistag it once or twice before figuring out the usage.

It depends on who's perspective you're using (one riding the other vs. one carrying the other) and some other carrying methods (like piggyback, sometimes referred to as a piggyback ride) can be viewed the same way since the one being carried is taking a ride on the person who is carrying them. If they do get tagged riding, we will simply fix it.

Should it be tagged walkie_talkie and radio or just walkie_talkie? If the former, should we implicate walkie_talkie -> radio?

star - Ball of energy, shape, christmas decoration.

PS: Yes, I know the second one isn't an actual star. It's very hard to find an image of the shape up close.

That second one looks like a star shape to me. She's just got that ribbon over her arms.

It means Shutzstaffel, it looks like it's been tagged by the same person, meaning they're vandalizing tags instead of using sets.
Updated by anonymous
Yeah, I guess that's it. I can't think of any other possible meanings for the tag, certainly nothing that's related to AC.
Anyway, here's an another one: roll. Mix of roll_(megaman), rolling, curled_up, and occasional sweet_roll. Hasn't been tagged much and it's currently mostly cleaned up, so not worth disambiguating...yet. Unless it gets worse.

cellar e621 tag
seems almost entiry used for underground (bdsm) dungeon rooms. the only other propose likly to come up in the community would be a wine_cellar.
salt_cellars,root_cellars and "last game" are proposes that are likly
to never to come up, too obscure. people are more likly to simply use shed or some form of storage to cover the propose root cellar stands for. And i doubly any calls selters from huricance or tornados cellars these days, storm shelter is whats commonly used.

There should probably be a disambiguation for all those if there aren't already
(Noticed lots of horn stuff going on recently)

Can't. French_horn is a brass instrument while english_horn is a woodwind instrument. They're in two different categories.
Not sure where a hollowed out animal's horn (which can be played somewhat like an instrument) would go under.

most posts in horn seem to be the anatomical type (usually on the head)
with some overlap
so maybe we could leave that as it
It should be easy enough to move the outliers to the other tags when they're found

As for the animal horn instrument,
Updated by anonymous
Wikipedia has a page for Horn_(instrument) and lists a lot of instruments so Horn_(instrument) can work.
We don't use Animal_horn yet. Use that for the instrument versions? Alphorn wouldn't go here because it's made of wood.
Updated by anonymous
Ouch. Yeah, let's not disambiguate horn; 150000 posts is way too much to sort.
BlueDingo's idea seems good: just move the instruments elsewhere.

I think we should change mutual_masturbation to mutual handjob. It's not really masturbation since They're doing it to each other and it would help with people mistagging it.

I agree.
It's been a while since 'mutual_masturbation' was recognized to be an inappropriate name, actually Genjar already stated that before, however apparently nothing was made in order to fix it.

We never found a better name for it. Mutual_handjob doesn't work because there's mutual vaginal_fingering mixed in.
And posts such as...
So it can't even split it into mutual_handjob and mutual_fingering. Both tags already exist and should be tagged if they apply, but they're no replacements for mutual_masturbation.

I don't think handjob for fingering is a big issue. Think of jerking as the opposite to fingering.

Demon is a broad range of creatures with a broad range of horn styles to match. Other species, like sheep, wouldn't have this problem.

We have very few horn-shape tags in general, even though there's so much variety. Compare these, for example:

Left thumbnail: maybe it works, but 'sinuous_horn'empty also is a possibility (personally, I think 'sinuous' sounds better than 'serpentine').
Central thumbnail: 'nose_horn + short_horn'.
Right thumbnail: 'short_horn'.

There is a tag for both puzzle and puzzle_(character). Is a disambiguation useful, with puzzle_(character) and puzzle_(object) or some-such, to avoid people tagging the character as the object? This is especially confusing since the wiki lists puzzle as a character, which it shouldn't be.

I usually end up tagging Mounted for when somebody is on a mount instead of riding. The two are easy to get backwards.

Too many regional variations in usage. Might need to disambiguate both and start using tags like general_store and grocery_store. Personally, I'd just alias them.
