Doesn't look red to me. A flushed tone of pink, sure, which while not a normal color, it is possible for flushing to occur in the entire body.

I don't think that's how science works. Very unlikely it would work due to the inability to fertilize the egg. If by some miracle you got a child it would be infertile due to the different structures and chromosomes which can't create embryos, much like a mule. A female offspring could make offspring but it would be rare to have the proper chromosomes,and it would deffinetly not be able to mate with another male of this new found race, so it would need an offspring of another human or anthro which will kill off your new race.
