@Chameloshi: That being said, Demon's Souls (lesser known predecessor by the same company) has both an equip load and a max carry weight, and when you reach near 100% carry weight in that game, you can't pick up anything that would put you above 100%.

@Chameloshi: The part where you can't roll in Dark Souls games if you're above 100% equip load is almost a death sentence cause you really need a roll, it's super important to anyone who's not a challenge runner.

@Chameloshi: Encumbrance in video games is pretty unrealistic anyways. The main thing I notice is your walking/running speed is slowed, but the character's jumping ability isn't hindered at all. Talk about breaking my suspension of disbelief.

@Chameloshi: Dark souls games have a thing were if you go over 100% equip load, if you try to roll, your character will just stumble uselessly, and if you go above 200%, your walk speed is reduced to a crawl.

@Chameloshi: Exists on survival at least, anything above that maximum carry weight will cause leg and health damage, if you're at 200% or above you can't move at all.

There should be a feature in games like Fallout where if you exceed the carry weight a certain amount, you'd either stop moving entirely or instantly die with exploding legs.

My bank charges the amount of the overdraft, plus $35 USD for the initial overdraft, plus $10 per day that it's not paid back in full.

So, $1000 + $35 + ($10 * number of days it's not paid back) = A whole heap of money I could never afford to pay back.
