I’m tired of ignoring the fact that my Blacklist won’t fucking work!!! I’m still finding thumbnails of “My_Little_Pony” and a bunch of other literally nasty shit that I DON’T WANT TO SEE!

Why is this still happening!?

    Without using any of the buzzwords that Matrix use themselves, it is basically an IRC server where a bunch of different clients can connect to it. It is not the same as an IRC server and you can do voice chat. But you can host your own server and have control over your privacy.

    @Odisaodi: The Matrix is a system, Odisaodi. That system is our enemy. When you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of people we're trying to save, but until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand that most of these people are not ready to be unplugged.

    Some servers on discord actually require you to authenticate with a phone number. This is not a server owned bot authentication either, it is done through discord themselves. My phone number is not something I enjoy giving out, especially to a company like discord.

    I should really look at spinning up a Matrix instance for me and my friends.

    To me, its somewhat of a letdown that Telegram still doesn't allow for full access to servers for Windows and certain Linux flavors without either a mobile phone number or the QR code method. For all the flaws and nonsense that Discord currently has, It still doesn't require any phone number for Desktop machines to access. *sigh*

    Agreed, but I think vanilla can have the opposite problem and be waaay to bland sometimes and then they try to make up for it with too much frosting. I think the flavor should be in the cake, not predominantly the frosting

    Somehow KODA has managed to block Big Enough, Darude Sandstorm and even Tunak Tunak Tun here in Denmark, I have no idea what's going on and I feel like I'm slowly losing my mind
