Species: neotrogla
The neotrogla is a species of cave insect native to Brazil. It is most known for its inverted sexual anatomy. Females of the species possess a large, barbed penis-like organ known as a gynosome which is designed to penetrate the vagina-like sexual orifice of the male and extract sperm and nutrients from inside.
