A character design that is intended to be printed on a body pillow and used for cuddling (and ~~usually~~ sometimes more). Though not strictly necessary, a dakimakura design often has a front/back image ready for printing. Front and back typically show the character posed on_back and on_front but may instead show different outfits, poses, or even two different characters entirely. These images often (but not always) have a bedding background too.
