Lahla is a blue Boo who works at Rogueport's Pianta Parlor in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. She exchanges Mario's pianta tokens for prizes and operates the parlor's games. Her identical twin sister is Peeka.

Using Paper Mode, Mario can get behind her desk to speak to her personally, and she gradually reveals more about herself as he sets high scores on the Pianta Parlor's games. Mario learns the following facts about her:

• She is eighteen years old.
• She and her sister used to be models.
• Her favorite food is Honey Mushrooms.
• She is secretly on a diet and does not want her sister to know about it.
• She was asked out on a dinner date by Arfur the Doogan.
• She wants to open her own shop.

In the original Japanese GameCube version, she wears a pair of fake rabbit ears that resemble those in the Playboy Bunny costume. In Western GameCube versions and the 2024 Switch remake, she wears a pair of fake cat ears instead. To distinguish her from her sister Peeka in fanart, artists usually draw one of the sisters wearing rabbit ears and the other wearing cat ears.
