When the eyes of a character are not visible to the viewer. They are usually covered by either hair, a type of headwear, or otherwise hidden behind a shadow (often through either the aforementioned hair or headwear).

This tag can technically also be used when their eyes are cut-off from view on any side of the picture, though faceless_male, faceless_female, or any of the related tags would be more appropriate for this instance.
