Loftwings is a species only appearing in Skyward Sword and its HD remaster. They are birds used by the citizens of Skyloft to fly around the different regions and are used during the annual Wing Ceremony.

Though not formally named in-game, a few notable Loftwings are tagged as Crimson_Loftwing, Golden_Loftwing, Zelda's_Loftwing, and Groose's_Loftwing. Other unique Loftwings are identifiable by sharing characteristics and accessories with their riders, often hairstyles and belts/necklaces.
