Jirai Kei is a style of popular Japanese fashion that originated in the Kabukicho district and started to gain popularity in the 2020s.

Commonly translated as "Landmine Type", the term is taken from the wearers of this fashion, with "jirai joshi" (landmine girl) being used to refer to girls who wear girly fashion and have mental health issues. The term has since been largely reclaimed as a neutral descriptor of fashion, but still has some loaded connotations behind it.

It has associations with lolita, menhera, yami kawaii, and other forms of feminine j-fashion.

Jirai Kei fashion often features muted pinks paired with black, frilly high-waisted skirts, ribbons, pearls and other jewelry, blouses, platform shoes, leg warmers, and more. Sanrio characters are also heavily associated with the style, particularly Kuromi and My Melody.
