(From the WikiFur page:) The Jogauni are a fictional race of tribal elemental canines created by Luskwood Creatures.

There are eight tribes, representing Shadow (Chayam), Light (Ujyalo), Metal (Phalama), Wood (Katha), Fire (Ago), Water (Pani), Air (Hava) and Earth (Mato). They have opposing and complementary tribes.

The elements they are bound to are not necessarily the usual representation of Western elementals (such as fire, water, earth and sky) but are loosely based on Nepali legends.

As they exist in Second Life, there is also a "quest" attached to the avatars.
