Character: don't be a stranger (sculpture)
'Don't Be a Stranger' is a concrete sculpture created by Norwegian artist Irene Nordli in 2006 for the Asker kulturhus (Asker Culture House) in Asker kommune, Norway. The sculpture depicts a very large anthropomorphic bipedal deer sitting on its heels with its hands spread out. The sculpture is covered in a mosaic of rounded grey pebbles interspersed with porcelain fragments, giving it the appearance of having scaly skin.
The sculpture became notorious in September 2022 when the artist remanedur posted a photo of the sculpture's rear, revealing that it has extremely shapely buttocks that squish against the sides of its heels.
