Transformation caused by vore — whether the prey character is transformed as a result of being consumed, or the pred character is transformed as a result of consuming another. In most cases of transformation through vore, the post should be tagged as after vore, as the transformation is the end result of the vore scenario.

Common Types of Transformations In Vore

• size transformation — a character consumes another and grows in size as a result
• species transformation — a character's species changes, often the prey adopting the pred's species, or the pred adopting the prey's species
• gender transformation — a character's sex changes from consuming another character, or being consumed by another character
• feces transformation — a character is turned into a living poop creature, rather than being digested and turned into feces

Prey Transformations

• Especially common in unbirthing, with prey experiencing a species transformation (or sometimes gender transformation) in the womb, and is reborn as the same species as the character that unbirthed them
• absorption vore also often shows the prey engulfed and transformed or merging with the pred
• Transformed prey may be regurgitated, rebirthed, ejaculated, or excreted, depending on the orifice of entry, or the process of their transformation
• Transformation may be indirect, such as a cock vore scenario, where a character is melted into cum, ejaculated into another character's womb, who is impregnated, and then reborn, or a character orally ingested, digested, and then being turned into a sperm cell or ovum inside of the pred's body.

Pred Transformations

• Preds may take on traits of the prey they have consumed and digested/absorbed, such as specific traits, their gender, or species, sometimes becoming a hybrid species or intersex character, if the transformation is only partial
• size transformation — specifically body size growth frequently occurs in transformation through vore:
• This may be a small amount of growth, as the result of the pred consuming 1 or a small number of prey, often in tandem with weight gain and/or expansion of specific body parts
• A recurring trope in macro scenarios are characters growing by eating masses of smaller individuals, and growing taller by digesting them
