Specism is a form of bigotry within fantasy or science-fiction settings, sometimes involving that one's species is superior or seeing another species as inferior, specifically across other sapient* species. It is a common trope among fantasy world building such as TwoKinds or The_Elder_Scrolls

*intelligent lifeforms similar to humans that are referred to as "sentient species"

It is also known as Fantasy_Racism and can be considered a form of xenophobia

It shares characteristics of racism however is not to be confused with it since racism involves reference to real world political issues
