Brooks Caperhaven^[1] is a finch^[2] character created by Anti Dev.

Although Brooks came from the original The Secret Lives Of Flowers webcomic, very little was established about him before it was dropped (other than the fact that he is a barback at Club Fierté, the same club Skids works at). So, most of his development comes from the Naked Hot Tub Party comic.^[3]

He is overweight with a yellow body. He has black feather hair, as well as his chest hair, armpit hair, pubes, and forearms. His beak and legs are orange. He has a prosthetic left leg, and a perpetual unamused expression. He is 20 years old,^[4] fairly younger than Skids and Tragia.

Trivia:

• When Anti Dev introduced Brooks in the webcomic, he "never really intended for him to be more than a background-filler, but then someone said they heard him speaking" with the voice of Bob Belcher (H. Jon Benjamin), "and suddenly everything clicked and I loved it." As of 2015, he said he still loves the idea of Brooks having that voice.^[1]
• Brooks lives with his dad and is obsessed with a TV talk show hostess.^[5]
• Has so many DVD box sets that it's nearly impossible to maneuver through his room without knocking over a stack of them.^[6]
• Has "every single fetish (even THAT one)"^[7]
• Anti Dev later elaborated: Brooks is omnisexual and he’s into literally everything. The answer to any “would brooks do this” question is always “yes”.^[8]
• Makes up a different story for how he lost his leg every time someone asks.^[9]
• Has an older brother with encyclopedic knowledge on what is and isn't considered gay.^[10]
• Never loses his chill. He also never takes anything seriously.^[11]
• Has no tact. "Just a big tactless bird with a nice belly and a fat dick."^[12]
• Anti Dev described his eye color as "cold black eyes like a doll’s eyes"^[13]
