A boombox, sometimes known as a "ghetto blaster", is a large semi-portable music player, which can receive radio, and play recorded music (usually at high volume, leading to their name). While most popular during the 1980s and 1990s, and often associated with those decades; they are still seen at parties, during events, or outdoor activities.
