Bear hug describes a character wrapping their arms around another's torso and squeezing tightly.

This may be affectionate in intention, like a typical hug, but be uncomfortable to the receiver of the hug. Bear hugs may be used in wrestling or fighting to restrain the opponent, or crush the opponent's torso — forcing the air from their lungs and causing back/chest pain. A bear hug may also be seen when characters are engaging in rough sex.
