A post that contains an explicitly stated promotion of a fictional or real product, service, or event.

This could also be either an in-universe, diegetic ad (e.g. a billboard ad on a building, a commercial on a TV, etc.), or an out-of-universe, non-diegetic ad (e.g. a poster for a music concert without any in-universe story or narrative context for its existence).

Important!

Acceptable advertisements are those with artistic and entertainment value that far outweighs their nature to sell goods or services.
Advertisements that only advertise goods and services are not acceptable, and are almost certainly going to be deleted.

• Advertising Patreon or paysite in the form of a signature on an image is perfectly fine.
• Advertising Patreon or paysite of the artist in the description of art they have created is also perfectly fine.
