Mettaton (/ˈmɛ.də.ˌtʌn/) is a character from Undertale, a video game that was created by Toby Fox.

Though Mettaton's appearance varies, he almost always posses a sassy, self-focused personality with a snarky edge. He originally appears as a gray, rectangular robot with a grid of lights at the top. He has four dials along the bottom of his body, two robotic arms, and a single wheeled leg.

Mettaton has two alternate forms. The first and most commonly depicted is "Mettaton EX". A humanoid android, he possess faux black hair, pale pseudo-skin, and visible metal segments below and above his left eye.

Mettaton NEO, his third form, has a more fighting-oriented design. His right forearm is replaced by what appears to be a cannon while his shoulders are clad in pauldrons, pieces of armor shaped like legs that appear longer than his actual arms. He also has noticeable wings on his back.
