Eyes characterized by concentric spirals within the iris, beginning where the pupil would be and stopping at the iris' border. Often used to depict obsessive or unhinged mental states in a character, or to indicate confusion or being dazed (The Hex Maniac from Pokemon games is a good example of a character with al bhed eyes).

The term takes its name from the Al Bhed tribe from the Final Fantasy: X games. The members of the Al Bhed all possess spiral-shaped green pupils/irises.
