I love the fact that Vinyl is being pressed again, and with modern music to boot!

Vinyl has never stopped being pressed. I've been collecting since 2008.

The Rolling Stones - Paint It Black

The only song I like from them. Plus it was the ending credits song for Twisted Metal Black, one of my most favorite games as a kid

Tim Skold - Chaos

Twisted Metal 4 had a great soundtrack even though the game itself was underwhelming. This was my favorite out of the whole soundtrack.

Now that's some fine taste in games right here. On the topic of Twisted Metal I'll add LeVel - Disaster Proof from Head-On, which is probably the most amount of publicity this band ever got.

Warning: dangerously 2000s nu-metal lies behind that link

I've loved Twisted Metal since I was a kid in the 90s. Black was by far my favorite, yet I wasn't traumatized at all with the very graphic cutscenes.

The 2012 release of Twisted Metal kinda pissed me off. It was largely online, and story mode was limited to just 3 playable characters. All that hype for its release, only for it to bomb so hard. I sold my copy after just 3 weeks lol.

Hello, suddenly I feel like posting Guitar Hero 5's set list haha. But what about video game OST? ^_^

I usually listen Prog/Alt metal with some trash around. But I must admit I also love stoner rock like the ol' Kyuss, Fu Manchu, 1000Mods etc. In fact, most of the time when I draw I listen to stoner rock playlists.

Monster magnet Dopes to infinity is a good song and album. I can't believe Dave Wyndorf is such a comic book geek xD

Also, I don't really collect vinyls, but I deffinetly look forward to increase my CD collection and pop in a new found Monster Magnet CD into my computer :D

For me it would be Green Lung. What an amazing stoner metal band, highly recommended :3

Huh, No-one has mentioned Femtanyl yet.
Femtanyl youtube channel
Katamari, PUSH UR T3MPRR and P3T are decent orientation songs.
Genre: There seems to be some consensus on "digital hardcore", a lot of people say breakcore, but that might be inaccurate.
Oh, the lyrics might be pretty disturbing to some, er, content warning if you need it.

Complete 180 time!

Have you ever heard of a genre called filk? (science fiction folk, basically, mostly)
I cannot stop listening to this genre.

Filk

Carmen Miranda's ghost - Literally one of the best examples of filk possible.
Bill Sutton's Album: Past Due - Mood generally alternates between more serious and more goofy. Cruiser Dreaming is a good start
(Oh yea, if you ever saw that Stellaris meme that has that tongue-in-cheek song that starts with "Let's be xenophobic! It's really in this year!", that's on this album.)
Banned from argo - Fan favorite
Rocket Rider's Prayer
Honorable mention:
Engineering propaganda: Hymn to Breaking Strain

HEXCORE (EVIL WIZARD RAP)

Read the comments under some of these, trust me, trust me on this.
A.P.A.B. (Stolen Magic Carpet Mix)
Grim beats to haunt the barony to - "who up in they tomb?" - Youtube commenter
Low Income Barony (Minion Mix)
The nobility has been real quiet since this dropped.

Currently listening to Every Man and Woman is a Star by Ultramarine

It's early 90s British Balearic House (think ambient house/techno with a few field recordings and samples of real instruments like a flute in one song) It's a nice album to relax to and has a pleasant warm feel to it. If you like 90s edm and instrumental electronic music I'd highly recommend it
