Currently, there are 19 posts tagged mtn_transformation, which I added a wiki for today:
"Male to null" transformation. When a male character had a penis, but underwent a transformation that resulted in him having a featureless_crotch.

There are two other *tn_transformation tags (no wikis): gtn_transformation (5 posts) and atn_transformation (1 post)
There's also a nullo_transformation tag (9 posts), which apparently requires a urethra:
The act of transforming a character into a nullo via fantastical means where the character is left with a urethra
And finally there's nullification:
Nullification is the process of removing the genitals (penis, testicles, vagina, etc).
The character is occasionally left with a urethra and anus, for the sake of waste removal (and potentially sex).Notes
- For tagging purposes, an intersex character may have this done on either or both sets of genitals.
- Not to be confused with featureless_crotch. Nullification implies that the genitals were present and therefore removed, even if not explicitly pictured.
- Not to be tagged with ambiguous_gender.
See also:
- nullo - A character with both their extenal (and sometimes internal) genitalia removed.

Any thoughts on what to do with this mess? Perhaps mtn_transformation/gtn_transormation/atn_transformation should all be aliased to (or imply?) a generalized null_transformation tag, which could then imply nullification and maybe featureless_crotch and transformation? Though, there's a good chance of these getting tagged on things like "a magical eraser erases a characters genitals", which I'm not sure is really transformation, and if it's mid-transformation, the genitals might not be fully removed yet. Also, the definition of nullification is rather contentious (topic #32582). I'm not even mentioning null, since that tag is so contentious...
