Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: twin_tail_nojaloli_fox -> nio-chan

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Just found this, after accidentally necroing topic #33552. Oops.

I think it should be to "nio_(horokusa)", because -chan is just an honorific, not part of her name. Here's what I was going to propose:

alias twin_tail_nojaloli_fox -> nio_(horokusa)

Reason

We've only been using a descriptive placeholder for the tag, and it's one that doesn't really translate at all well into English (のじゃロリ = nojaloli ~= a young girl using old geezer phrasing and mannerisms).

Her artist and creator recently revealed her proper name in a couple of tweets (pasted below) after using のじゃロリ狐 for her since Apr 2021.

二尾(ニオ)ちゃん🦊
[the Kanji for "two" and "tail"] ([reading] "Nio") -chan 🦊

Other work

The wiki page twin tail nojaloli fox will need moving, but I've made the edits it'll need already. I don't know if it will move automatically.

On second thoughts, I'd better not vote this down just on a stylistic distinction. Anything that gets the character's proper name into play is better than what we have now.

@Kemonophonic, what do you think about going with the usual name_(creator) format used for the artist's other characters ?
