@Doomguy666: oh wow, that's as thin as I've ever heard them to be. If I had a hard time handling plate thick clay, I can't even begin to think how precise the handling process is for clay that thin. You fire them, cover them in glaze, and high fire them?

@vex714: Yeah I wasn't exaggerating when I said little more than paper thin.
Paper is about.0040-.0050 in, the parts I'm making are .0060 in + -.0005

The.0005 is the tolerance meaning it can be that much smaller or bigger.

@vex714: we don't use glaze but rather Teflon paper ( I think ) that keeps everything from sticking together. Firing is the next department so I'm not sure what type of kiln they use When the carts are unloaded I can feel the heat from it like 10 ft away
