@Sharp_Coyote: Pardon my ignorance, but what is a manual boost controller? Is it an upgrade to make your engine efficient? All I know is oil change, replace brakes, change tires, and replace the battery in cars.

Mine is an electronic device which modifies sensor values to allow up to 5PSI of extra turbocharger boost; ofc, I have it set to max.
@vex714: this is the main reason modern cars feel so listless unless you are lucky enough to have a 'sport mode', or a sticker price north of $40K. The computer always chooses emissions and fuel economy over power by vetoing your right foot.
@vex714: vehicles since the mid-2000s have no physical connection between the go pedal and the engine; the computer operates a motor on the throttle body which decides how much air gets in. Makes programming for traction control easier: just cut power.
@vex714: this one is a little more advanced, in that it also does the same for the accelerator pedal sensor, and forces the computer to open the throttle body more quickly, improving throttle response.
