Zorori (Japanese: ゾロリ) is an anthropomorphic fox and title character of the Kaiketsu Zorori, a series of children's books by Yutaka Hara, and its anime adaptations. In the anime, he is voiced by Koichi Yamadera.

Zorori's name is derived from the Spanish word "zorro," along with the fictional hero Zorro, whom he shares a similar aesthetic with.

Personality

He is a mischevious trickster who is accompanied by the twin boar bandits Ishishi and Nishishi, who often gets entangled in a number of sticky scenarios, yet manages to either mess things up or come up on top. His main goals are becoming the King of Pranks (悪戯の王者, Itazura no Ōja), marrying a bride, and getting a castle. His main qualities include his cunningness and intelligence, which allow him to survive in times of peril. Despite being selfish and crude, he has a heart of gold and has occasionally shown to help out others if the scenario calls for it.

Appearance

Zorori is a fox with yellow fur and three fingers on each hand. He is seen wearing a Japanese staw hat and a blue kimono with green pants and a cape. Alternatively, he switches his outfit to a form-fitting suit resembling that of a phantom thief, consisting mainly of a blue spandex suit, a black brimmed hat, red boots, and a domino mask.
