Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade is a tactical RPG developed by Intelligent Systems and released on the GameBoy Advance in 2003. It is the 7th entry in the Fire Emblem series and the first to be released outside of Japan. The game is a prequel to Fire Emblem The Binding Blade and follows Eliwood, the father of the previous game's protagonist, and his friends Hector and Lyn.

Notable features:

  • The villain is a dragonfucker.
  • The three protagonists each have several possible love interests. One combination makes Roy part manakete. Other combinations can retroactively make the sequel's preferred pairing of Roy/Lilina incestuous.
  • More manakete genocide.
  • A shota dragon, for a change, though we never see his dragon form. There's still a loli dragon, but she's an adolescent this time.
