Species: crystal onix
The Crystal Onix is an unusual Onix whose body is made of pure crystal, making it very rare.
It appears only in the "The Crystal Onix" episode of the TV show (Pokémon), when Mateo , a Pokémon glasssmith, searches for this creature for inspiration just like his grandfather did.
Crystal Onix is an unusual-looking Onix, as its body is made entirely of crystal rather than large rocks, making its relationship with other elemental types different than other Onix. Crystal Onix does not take super-effective damage from Water-type moves , but instead takes increased damage from Fire-type attacks .
