Breast Cancer Awareness Month or National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the US is the month of October. Created in 1985 in partnership between the American Cancer Society and the pharmaceutical division of Imperial Chemical Industries, BCAM is promoted by various charities across the world to raise awareness of and combat breast cancer.
