Character: shadowheart (baldur's gate)
Shadowheart, Epithet: The Daughter of Darkness, is one of the 7 origin characters in Baldur's Gate 3.
She is a Half-Human/Half-High Elf and a devout follower of Shar, Goddess of Darkness and loss and twin sister to Selune, Goddess of Night Light. Her order was tasked with recovering a magic artifact resembling a d20 from she Mind Flayers. At the start of the game, she was the only survivor of her group, but was not able to avoid being captured and given a Mind Flayer Tadpole Parasite.
By default, Shadowheart is a Cleric of Shar, whose domain falls under the category of Trickery. She is proficient in medium armor, flails, morning stars, maces, and shields and has access to powerful support magic. Trickery Domain clerics gain access to spells centering around stealth, deception, and illusion.
Shadowheart has straight, coal-black hair kept in a long ponytail segmented by ornate silver rings. Her fringe hair is kept short and straight, revealing her brows beneath and a scar running from her nose to her right cheek. Hair adorns her face on the sides, reaching past her chin, her pointed ears barely peeking through them, and her eyes, light-green with speckles of yellow, are contoured by dark make-up. She is 40 years old which is considered extremely young by Elf standards but middle aged by Human standards. She has the appearance of a young woman in her mid to late 20s.
Shadowheart suffers from Lupophobia, the fear of wolves and wolf-like creatures such as Worgs and Werewolves.
