Purath Is a character created by barazany420, he Is a demon prince, or at least was. When he was In "power" he had no say In anything whatsoever nor was ever taken places with his father, the king. Essentially he was a dressed up peasant allowed to live In a castle.

His main duties Involved cooking for the king, cleaning the castle and most dangerously, feeding the family cerberus who would constantly try to attack him, It managed to knick him one time resulting In a scar over his right pec.

He Is a demon but only a half one with his mother being a mortal fox woman which Is why he takes vague resemblance of a fox (vague Is said here as actual foxes look drastically different In this universe).

Half demons are far weaker physically than full demons but with just as powerful magic which without use of some kind of magic suppressant (In his case his amulet) will cause the magic Inside them to build up and release causing their whole body to shred Into pieces killing them Instantly.

The only way he can safely remove his amulet Is by supressing his magic manually by using most of It to bring him as close to a mortal form as he can be, he calls this spell his " 'guise spell.

Though this method Isnt fool proof as any sort of strong emotion can cause spikes In magic recovery, breaking the spell so even In a mortal form he continues to wear the amulet just In case

The magenta all over his body Is essentially like a magic meter showing how much he has left, slivers as seen In most of his artworks means hes disguised as a mortal, full means hes In his true form which Is taller, gnarlier and covered In eyeballs and teeth, no magenta means his body can hardly hold Itself together causing a true freak of nature but not killing him

None of his alternate forms alter his mind In any way however so even In his nastiest looking form he's still perfectly sound of mind and In control of himself

He decided to escape hell on his 19th birthday and with the help of his uncle and library keeper was able to do so while also carrying a buttload of human cash to assist In living there where he used It to buy new clothes and become a roommate to who would become his future boyfriend, Luke, though their relationship started out not great as both had their trust Issues stemming from their past but grew to like eachother and eventually love eachother

Purath's first time on earth was when he had escaped, he ended up In the middle of a pine forest at night so the first thing he saw was the night sky full of dancing purples and blues dotted with stars and the moon and all he could smell was the sweet soothing scent of pine trees

Now whenever he experiences either of those sensations he grows highly emotional and affectionate

Now he lives at home with Luke and his other parter both found later In life, Elliot and couldnt be happier
