Character: helob (cult of the lamb)
Helob is a supporting character in the award winning indie rogue-like/resource management game Cult of the Lamb.
Helob is a large spider with a fluffy purple body, with three pairs of thin limbs sticking out from the sides and one pair of legs on the bottom. Loose bones stick out from his fur, and he appears to have a stinger on top of both his head and his body. He lurks in the forests of the world, trapping potential converts for the Lamb's cult with giant spider webs and eating them if not saved.
Helob is willing to sell one of his prey to The Lamb in exchange for gold coins. The amount that he asks vary depending on where his is encountered and whether or not the potential Follower is old, ill, emaciated, dissenting. He may occasionally give the follower away for free if the lamb has too few followers or just cause, saying that the follower doesn't look tasty or the lamb must be starving. He assumes, that the lamb intends to eat the follower when he takes them back to his base (although this is not entirely inaccurate).
After unlocking Heket's Land of Anura, he will set up shop outside the entrance to Silk Cradle and will sell one follower each day if the Lamb visits him. If you but three followers from him during crusades, he will give you the Fervor's Host Tarot Card.
