The use of clothing and makeup to imitate and/or exaggerate gender signifiers and gender roles for entertainment purposes.

Drag goes beyond just simple crossdressing - it is flamboyant and dramatic, playing with hyperfemininity and/or hypermasculinity. People can perform drag as their assigned gender, with AFAB drag queens often being referred to as "hyper queens".
