hind legs
Leg shape commonly associated with animalistic or feral body types, but can potentially be found on any body type.
Typically concurrent with short legs and/or digitigrade, but not exclusively so.
This tag has several potential uses:
- Indicate that a normally four-legged character is walking on their hind legs, usually for a small amount of time.
- Overlaps with the existing tag on hind legs.
- Tag for an animalistic appearance without necessarily implying quadrupedal, feral, semi-feral, or digitigrade body types.
- Avoid contradictions when describing characters whose tags would normally conflict with each other (for example, a bipedal plantigrade character with a decidedly feral body shape).
- Allow for better separation of leg and arm types.
- Distinguish a specific leg type separate from the broader tag bipedal feral, avoiding overlap with a large variety of leg types in this category.
- Especially useful as "hind legs" allows for more humanoid qualities elsewhere on the body.
- Can serve as an antonym for the tag humanoid legs.
