Character: axis (undertale yellow)
Axis 014 is a robot from the fangame Undertale Yellow. He is the latest in a line of robotic Royal Guards designed and built by Steamworks engineer Chujin Ketsukane to defend Monsterkind from human aggression.
Axis has a distinctly conceited and singleminded personality. Despite being sapient, he pursues his programmed objectives with little care for nuance or the concerns of others, though he will gladly circumvent his own programming whenever he finds it convenient (such as when his programming prevented him from attacking Clover - he handed him a trashcan lid so his programming would recognize it as a "drawn weapon"). He also uses a lot of crass language, which is blocked by his built-in-profanity filter.

Chujin was hoping the Kingdom would adopt the Axis series as a soldier force. Unfortunately, it took numerous models to refine Axis, and one failed prototype burned King Asgore's flowerbed, causing him to be fired from the Steamworks. Cut off from official funding, Chujin continued the Axis project in secret.
Axis was first deployed in combat when Chujin's daughter was threatened by a human attack in Snowdin. The most recent model, Axis 014, was used to pacify this human. Unfortunately, instead of apprehending her, as Chujin had wanted, an apparent malfunction caused it to blow her head off, much to Chujin's surprise and horror (Given Axis' personality, this may not have been a 'malfunction' at all). After this, Axis was hidden at the Steamworks building, which by then was long abandoned.
