Archangel is a mechanical dog created by the Clovis Bray Corporation for currently unknown reasons.

While much of Archangel's past and purpose are unknown. According to Anastasia Bray, the granddaughter of Clovis Bray I, and a fellow Guardian, a small piece of Rasputin - a combat AI that was created to protect humanity by Clovis Bray - still lives within Archangel and he quickly bonded to The Guardian, the main character of the Destiny series of games.

He was programmed to be male, and is similarly designed to Exos, humanoid-like robots that live in the Destiny universe. He is entirely made out of synthetic materials, and it is known in-lore that he can "eat" and store things within a central storage unit inside of its stomach.
