When a character threatens to castrate another, this is most often expressed in dialogue with a character verbally threatening actions that would severely damage or remove the target of their threat's penis and/or balls. This can also apply to nonverbal threats, such as a character shown holding a knife, or other bladed implement to a character's genitalia, or making gestures or using phallic objects to threaten a character's penis.
Note: while removal of the penis is actually a penectomy and not castration (which is a removal of the testes), as these threats are very similar, both threats to remove or mutilate the testes or penis are grouped under this tag.
