Hypnosis is the act of manipulating someone's mind to make them more (or completely) willing to follow orders. Normally, this involves the subject viewing a spinning swirl, pendulum, or other focusing object until they're entranced by it. Another common form, often associated with snakes, nagas and lamias, works through direct eye_contact instead.

Once a character has been hypnotized, they sometimes gain a glazy look typically including ringed eyes, spiral eyes, or spiral pupils (see example above).
