When the lion crest or the colors of Gryffindor house are featured in a Harry Potter post. The colors are red and gold and are often found on clothing such as neckties, scarves, socks, and the hems of sweaters and robes, and on furnishings such as banners, rugs, and pillows.

This should not be used when a post features a character who is a member of Gryffindor house (such as Hermione Granger) but not any house colors or regalia.
