Artists may request to have their e621 accounts verified.

What is verification?

Artist verification links your e621 user account to your artist tag(s). When you upload a post with yourself as an artist, a checkmark will be displayed next to your tag. The artist page will also link to your e621 account. It is free, and any artist is welcome.

Why verify?

Verifying yourself as an artist has a number of advantages. For example, it gives artists "immunity" to uploading their own paysite content (should they choose to), and allows artists to set restrictions on who is allowed to upload their art by using the avoid posting list.

How to verify

To verify your account, you simply need to DM one e621's accounts (linked below) with the required information.

A note on Twitter - Twitter is a rapidly changing platform, and DMs may be limited.

Message Requirements

- The message must be sent on a site that you upload your art to.
- The message must be sent from the account that you use to upload art (if you have multiple accounts).
- The account you use should have some of its contents posted on e621.
- The message should convey that you would like your account linked.
- The message should contain your e621 username or user ID number as well as your artist tag name or artist ID number.
