Character: togo
Togo is a Seppala Siberian Sleddog (essentially a variant of Siberian Husky) was the lead sled dog of musher Leonhard Seppala and his dog sled team in the 1925 serum run to Nome across central and northern Alaska.
This was the very same serum run accredited to the dog Balto in the Balto film despite Togo running the majority of the distance historically. Togo was featured in a Disney film Togo, and also in The Great Alaskan Race, a film distributed by P12 Films.
Given the connection between the two characters, Togo and Balto are sometimes featured together in drawn artwork.
