Cattails: Wildwood Story is an indie RPG styled game created by Falcon Development in which the player assumes the role of a cat in the wilderness. It is a sequel of Falcon Development's previous game, Cattails. The game is currently in Beta testing and is planned for release in Q4 of 2023. It will be available on Windows, Mac, and later Nintendo Switch. More information can be found on the game's unofficial wiki.

In this new installment, the temple is destroyed and The Forest Guardian vanishes once again. The player character is tasked with travelling with a small group to a distant land to start a new colony and build a new temple. They settle in an area named The Wildwood, where the player can build their colony from the ground up, meeting new characters and enemies.
