Official character description:

旧家の名家の娘。しかし、生まれたときに死にかけ、体が弱いとみなされ男として育てられることに。祖母、母のみだけが娘であると知っている。（祖母がだいぶヤバいのである！）
しかし、実際体は弱く、男児として期待されていた結果は残すことができなかった。知らないものから馬鹿にされ、叱咤され知っている祖母から「女」としても使い物にならないと厳しくしつけられた。そんな中、弟が生まれお役御免となるが、未だに肩身狭く生きている。

Translated:

Daughter to an old and distinguished family. However, she nearly died at birth, and grew up with a weak constitution, and so she was raised as a boy. Only the mother and grandmother know the truth of the matter. (in particular, the grandmother's pretty bad about it.)
However, due to her weak body, she was unable to meet the expectations placed upon her as a boy. Those who didn't know the truth ridiculed and reprimanded her, while the grandmother who knew her as an object that was no use as a "woman" would also harshly discipline her. When her younger brother was born, she was no longer forced to fit the role of a son, but to this day she lives a life filled with deep shame.
