Species: defiler (runescape)

Defilers are creatures from the game RuneScape. Defilers have a serpentine lower half, slithering like a snake, with an upper body loosely resembling an anthropomorphic cat. They have spikes protruding from their shoulders and wrists, and 'throw' the wrist spikes to attack. They come in a variety of colours, and their underside is a separate colour, and is more obviously scaled.

They are invasive pests that travel between realms. The look of defilers is the same in both RuneScape 3 and Old School RuneScape, other than minor texture changes; in RuneScape 3, the lore of void pests in general has been expanded.
