Majin Sonic is an Easter egg character featured in the original Sonic CD, depicted with a large grin and blank eyes. Masato Nishimura, who created this depiction of Sonic, has confirmed that the "mustache" people see on this character is actually pronounced cheekbones, though art that Sega has commissioned has shown Majin Sonic with a mustache. The word Majin means "Devil" or "Demon" in Japanese, but the "Majin" seen in this Easter egg is the childhood nickname of Masato Nishimura.
