Wadjet was an Egyptian Goddess within Egyptian Mythology. She has had several roles throughout ancient Egypt from Goddess of Childbirth, to protecting and guiding of the Pharoah and his Family along side her sister Nekhbet, to Protector and Defender of the Nile Delta.

She has been depicted as a Cobra, a Winged Cobra, and/or as a woman with a Snake-head.
