Hot Skitty on Wailord Action is a joke among Pokémon fans relating to the fact that the Pokémon, which are very different in size, appearance, and elemental type, can breed.

Out of the more humorous of the strange breeding combinations that can happen, the most famous and demonstrative is Skitty and Wailord. While Skitty is a small, catlike Pokémon, Wailord is, as the name would indicate, modeled after a whale, and as such is the largest non-legendary Pokémon in the series. Despite these differences, they are both in the Field breeding group and are therefore – but also strangely – able to breed.
